BMW M2 Coupe is right on the money!

BMW M2 Coupé We have planes to take us on holiday, high-speed broadband to keep us informed about the fast-moving world and performance cars that can get you from A to B faster than is prudent.

And performance cars no longer have to be supercars that cost six figures, either. There are plenty of affordable hot-hatches and motorsport variants of regular cars that many buyers use to scratch that fun-to-drive itch.

Among those buyers BMW’s M division has a special kudos. Established in 1972 to address the company’s motorsport activities, the division evolved to build special versions of road-going models.

First-ever SUV from iconic Italian marque revealed at Geneva

After a couple of delays, the groundbreaking Maserati Levante SUV has made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, with sales starting soon. It goes up against rivals like the Bentley Bentayga, Range Rover Sport and Porsche Cayenne.

Originally touted for last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the Levante was delayed due to switching production from the USA (where Maserati’s sister brand Jeep – an SUV specialist – is based) to Italy. According to our sister title Auto Express, however, the Levante will not use any Jeep parts.

Maserati boss Harald Wester insisted that the new Levante would be “100% Maserati”. He also confirmed that production would begin this month, with deliveries beginning after Geneva.
